PALESTINE

DAVID

The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me.
Thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me al the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.

*****

Hear my cry, O God; attend unto my prayer.
From the end of the earth will I cry unto Thee, when my heart is overwhelmed; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.
For thou hast been a shelter for me, and a strong tower from the enemy.
I will abive in Thy tabernacle for ever: I will trust in the covert of Thy wings.   So will I sing praise unto Thy name for ever, that I may daily perform my vows.

*****

Praise ye the Lord.  Praise ye the Lord from the heavens: praise Him in the heights.
Praise ye Him, all His angels: praise ye Him, all His hosts.
Praise ye Him, sun and moon: praise Him, all ye stars of light.
Fire, and hail; snow and vapours; stormy wind fullilling His word:
Mountains and all hills; fruitful trees, and all cedars:
Beasts, and all cattle; creeping things, and flying fowl:
Kings of the earth, and all people; princes, and all judges of the earth:
Both young man, and maidens; old men, and children:
Who covereth the heaven with clouds, Who prepareth rain for the earth, Who maketh grass to grow upon the mountains:

SOLOMON

Rise up, my love,my fair one, and come away.
For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone:
The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell.   Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.

ISAIAH

And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go u to the mountain of the Lord, and He will teach us of His ways, and we will walk in his paths.
And he shall judge among the nations, and they shall beat their words into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks:  nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.
