ALL-AGES SHOW SCHEDULED FOR THE BIG DIPPER ON SATURDAY,
JUNE 2, 2001 FEATURING ELDERSTAAR

Enter the World of RAWK here ....

RAWK the Inland Northwest, a nonprofit organization based in Spokane,
Washington, announces that it will co-host an all-ages concert, on Saturday,
June 2, 2001, at the Big Dipper, Second and Washington, in downtown Spokane.
This show is being produced in conjunction with Broken Paradox, a band from
Colville WA.  Doors open at 6:30 PM, with the show starting at 7:00 PM, and
ending around 10:30 PM.  Tickets are $5, and available only at the door.

Headlining is ELDERSTAAR, a Spokane hardcore band which has gained much
attention recently by playing a number of shows around town.  One of those
occurred recently at the Bayou.  Elderstaar is scheduled to lead worship and
to perform a regular set at this years Tomfest in Stevenson WA.  This will
occur on the same day as the appearance by POD and Project 86.

BROKEN PARADOX will provide the sound system for this show, and bring its
formidable gothic-tinged metalcore back to the Big Dipper.  Seven and
six-year-olds Lydia and Sophie Strom say that they love Sara Davis, one of
the singers in this band.  Broken Paradox truly appeals to all ages.

Also playing is NORMAL, the dense and mysterious tribal metal band from Moses
Lake.  Lead singer Gabriel promises to be in full throat for this show,
standing on his perch behind the rest of this intense band.

Opening on this night is the venerable band SUFFICE, which has matured into a
smoothly operating hardcore machine, delivering a message of love through a
medium of powerful vocals and thunderous breakouts.
