YET ANOTHER ALL-AGES SHOW AT THE BIG DIPPER, FEATURING PHILMORE

RAWK the Inland Northwest, a non-profit ministry organization based in
Spokane, Washington, announces that it will sponsor an all-ages concert on
Sunday, November 5, 2000, at the Big Dipper, Second and Washington, in
downtown Spokane.  Doors open at 6:00 PM, with the show starting at 6:30 PM,
and ending around 9:30 PM.  Tickets are $6, and available only at the door.

This punk rock show will feature Philmore, a hot new punk band from Tulsa,
Oklahoma.  This band has recently released its debut self titled album on
Five Minute Walk Records.  It is characterized by extensive metal guitar
leads, creating a fairly unique sound in the punk genre.  Drawing influences
from such artists as Bon Jovi, Weezer, Stryper, and even Beethoven, Philmore
offers an irresistible diversity that pleases most crowds.  This will be the
band's first appearance in Spokane.

Appearing on the bill is a progressive straight-edge punk band from Calgary
known as Downway.  This band is concluding a lengthy tour, most recently with
Good Riddance, with this show.  Downway was formed in 1995, and is now signed
to Seattle's 206 Records.

Joining them is Buddy Ruckus, the Spokane punk band which is soon to end a
brief layover after a short tour in Russia sponsored by their church, Calvary
Chapel, and about to launch out on a stateside tour, beginning on November 11
in San Diego.

This very strong bill is completed with Upper Class Racket, making their
first appearance at the recently reopened Big Dipper.  This Spokane band has
developed a loyal following through numerous local performances.
